Once upon a time there was Pippi Longstocking. This girl was very funny and kind. She lived freely. She took care of herself. She went wherever she wanted, slept whenever she wanted and went to school when she felt like it. Pippi thought that too much learning could ruin even the most powerful person. Of course, this is a fantastic fairytale, real and unreal, believable and unbelievable, the red and yellow long stockings she was named after…..Guess what? She was never cold!
